The Kia Pet Adoption Grant helps make it possible for Always and Furever to provide full vetting for each of the dogs and cats and not pass on any costs in the form of adoption fees. This has been priceless and provided 30 animals with forever homes.

This is Acadia! She is a 2-year-old mixed breed who was brought in as a stray to the county pound by a good Samaritan.

Acadia had been dumped by the side of the road, where she sat all day in the summer heat waiting for her people to return. No one ever came to reclaim her, and she became one of the animals cared for by Always & Furever (A&F).

A&F volunteers for this rural pound, walking, feeding, and promoting the animals for adoption every single day. This care also includes full vetting, including spay/neuter and microchip, all to ensure these animals are adoptable and ready for their forever homes.

When Acadia’s new family saw her picture, it was love at first sight. Acadia is a gentle girl with good manners who melts your heart. She couldn’t be more deserving of a future filled with love!
